Is Bottle Cap Trivia free?

Yes — completely free. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no paywalls. Download it and play as much as you like.

Does the app need internet to play?

No. All questions are stored on your device and the app works fully offline. Play on the train, at the pub, or in the middle of nowhere.

How does Classic Mode work?

Classic gives you 10 questions back to back. Each question has a 15-second countdown — answer before time runs out. Your score is tallied at the end of the round and you earn XP based on how many you got right.

How does The Streak work?

Sudden death. Questions keep coming as long as you keep answering correctly. Get one wrong and it's over — your streak ends and your total is recorded as your personal best. There are no lives and no second chances.

Will my progress be saved if I close the app?

Yes. Your stats are saved automatically to your device after each round. If you uninstall the app, your local data will be cleared as it is stored only on your device — there's no cloud backup in this version.

I found a wrong or bad question — what do I do?

You can rate any question using the thumbs up or down directly on the question screen after answering. For a factually incorrect answer or a confusing question, email us at support@bottlecaptrivia.com with the question text and we'll look into it.

The app crashed or isn't working properly.

Try closing and reopening the app first. If the issue continues, make sure you're on the latest version in the App Store or Google Play. If it's still broken, contact us at support@bottlecaptrivia.com with your device model and OS version and we'll investigate.
