Bottle Cap Trivia ("the App", "we", "us") is a trivia game for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
The short version: we collect nothing from you. The App runs entirely on your device with no account required and no data sent anywhere.
Bottle Cap Trivia does not collect any personal information. The App does not collect:

All data generated in the App — your game stats, XP, badges, and question history — is stored locally on your device using secure local storage. This data:
Because everything is local, we have no ability to recover your progress if you uninstall the App or switch devices.
Bottle Cap Trivia does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The App is built with Expo and React Native. The Expo platform may collect limited, anonymised crash and performance telemetry governed by Expo's Privacy Policy. This does not include personally identifiable information.
The App's Settings screen includes links to our social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook) and a contact email. Once you leave the App, you are subject to the privacy policies of those third-party services.
The App does not collect any personal information from users of any age. The trivia content is designed for adults and older teenagers — parental guidance is recommended for younger users.
We may update this policy as new features are added. If future versions introduce accounts or cloud features, this policy will be updated clearly before launch. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were last made.
